Attending our workshops

There are several workshops available at some fairs to help get your college or career started. The workshops are free and are on a first come first serve basis. You will enjoy workshops such as borrowing money for school. The list of workshops below are tentative, so please check back with us at a later date.

Oahu:

Feeling lost or anxious about college? Or unsure about which road to take? Let us show you a successful route to finding your way to college, or secondary education. Let us help you start your journey with tips to college planning including general information on financial aid. Don't miss this important information being offered by Jonathan Wong, Counselor for Leeward Community College! This session is expected to take place in the Pikaki Room to the left as you enter the exhibition hall. This will be held at 9:00 am and 10.00 am.  Don't miss it! Another will be held in the evening at 6:30pm.

 

Kauai:

Hawaii College & Career Fair's Kauai Committee presents College 'Financial Aid 101' during the evening session of the Kauai fair at 5:30PM. The workshop will be held in the Orchid Rooms 1 & 2 and presented by Donna Aana-Nakahara of Kamehameha Schools' Kauai Regional Resource Center and Bricen Moritsugu of ALU LIKE's Multi-Services Program. Come learn the basics to financial aid such as the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as well as other college financing programs and opportunities."

 

Maui:
